FOLKSY BREW: INTRO TO LOCAL BREWING CLASS
Class Description- Saturday, August 7th 1:00 PM
Intro to Local Brewing Class: This class will be an introduction to homebrewing with a focus on local and seasonal ingredients. Learn to make an herbal or vegetable beer and a basic mead (honey wine). We will be utilizing as many products (honey, vegetables, fruits, herbs) from local farms as possible. HARVESTING WORKSHOP!
This Sunday, August 1st, learn from Farmer D all the basics about harvesting. Now that your garden is producing results, you will want to protect your young vegetable plants from pests & disease and learn the best practices for harvesting your veggies. Farmer D team will show you how to identify, prevent and control diseases, insects and weeds. We will also review how and when to harvest your vegetables for their best taste! If you miss this Sunday's harvesting workshop don't fret! There's another scheduled for August 15th!
